3 World Records You Can Beat During Your Lunch Break

September 6, 2011 Posted by Emily Miethner

Here at RecordSetter we encourage everyone to get involved in setting world records. We also understand that you are a busy individual. That being said, each week we’re going to bring you three world records you can beat while sitting at your desk during your lunch break. No excuses, play like a champion.

1. Most Coffee Cups On A Desk

Set by Kristin McDermott Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; she doubled the world record set by the record creator. The question is, did she drink all of them?

World Record: Most Coffee Cups on Desk

2. Farthest Distance To Throw A Crumpled Piece Of Paper Straight Into A Garbage Can

After over 100 tries, Alex Cunningham of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania threw a crumpled piece of paper into an office trash can from 37 feet (444 inches) away. Find the longest hallway in your office and get to it.

3. Longest Pen Mustache On Upper Lip

Florencia Ezcurra of City, Massachusetts has some extreme lip balancing skills…setting the world record at almost 6 minutes of pen mustache-ing.

Three World Records Waiting to be Set:
  • Largest Coffee Cup Pyramid Built in 30 Seconds
