3 Extremely Creative and Impressive World Records

September 15, 2011 Posted by Emily Miethner

Here at RecordSetter we get tons of super interesting and creative submissions. Each week we’ll be posting a short entry as an ode to the interesting and creative world records we love. Here are the three latest startling examples of human innovation.

Longest Altoids Tin Domino Chain

Art Hoffman of Louisville, Kentucky created a domino chain in his driveway using 120 Altoids tins, then made the entire chain topple. Lest you think toppling tins would be mundane to watch, check out the slick editing and suspense in this video, complete with “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins as the soundtrack.

Most Slides On A Slip ‘n Slide In One Minute While Wearing A Hot Dog Costume

Sean Sonic of San Diego, California and radio station Channel 933 invented an all-American summer world record. To celebrate the 4th of July, he put on a hot dog costume and hurled himself down a Slip ‘n Slide seven times while being squirted with ketchup and mustard.

Most Instruments Played At Once

Norzamri Lagenda of Gombak, Selangor played a total of one keyboard and three guitars at the same time. Despite using his toes to play two of the instruments, the sound was surprisingly melodious.

Three World Records Just Waiting to Be Set:

  • Most People Playing Instruments While Using a Slip n Slide in 1 Minute
  • Most Costumes Worn While Playing Dominos
