At RecordSetter’s BreakCancer party at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas, Romany Malco took the stage and set a new world record pertaining to one of his favorite things: fishing!

Dan Mackey of Easthampton, Massachusetts will blow your mind in this video of the new world record for “Most People Flipped Over While Performing A Forward Aerial Berani.” (A berani is a gymnastic maneuver consisting of a front flip with a 180-degree twist.) He set the bar at an impressive ten people.

Longest Successful Football Throw From A Boat To A Wakeboarder

Chris Miller of Lake Coeur d’Alene, Idaho sucessfully threw a football from a boat to his friend who was 60 feet away riding a wakeboard. Hurry and beat this record before the summer ends!

 

Largest Cardboard Fort

Nick Clark of Draper, Utah and his friends Russell, Jeff, and Bryson used 238 boxes to make a massive outdoor cardboard fort. The structure was 40 feet wide and 25 feet in length and took 36 hours to create.

If only we could all have the discipline record setter Jon-Paul Palmer clearly has.

Darryl Learie of Edmonton, Alberta sets yet another outstanding record. If this isn’t already an official yoga pose, I suggest we make it so and call it “Edmontana.”

Big ups to Cramer Ruth for snapping ten pencils in 6.65 seconds. Magically, Ruth now has 20 pencils.

8 1/2″ x 11″ paper doesn’t have to be boring. Joshua James’ 1.6 mm(!!!) paper airplane proves that.

8. Most Pencils Sharpened With a Pencil Sharpener in One Minute

This record is to the point, pun intended. Check out Emily Wilson, who set a world record by sharpening five pencils in 60 seconds.

7. Most Finger Rotations Around a Pencil in 30 Seconds

The legendary Brian Pankey, owner of more than 1,300 world records, owns this extraordinary feat. Challenge it if you dare.

6. Most Pieces of Chalk Thrown at a Person in a Taco Suit Singing “Space Oddity”

Think your classes feel long? Andreas Luck taught an English Conversation lesson to his students in Bangkok, Thailand that measured a world record 79 hours and five minutes in length. Just keep that in mind the next time you’re dying for the bell to ring.
