Many people need five days, five weeks or even five years to solve a Rubik's Cube. For new world champion Collin Burns, however, it took just five seconds to complete the entire puzzle.

At an official World Cube Association competition on Saturday at Central Bucks West High School in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Burns solved a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube in a world record 5.25 seconds. The previous record was 5.55 seconds, set by Mats Valk from the Netherlands.
